THIS CONTEMPORARY KITCHEN FITS NEATLY IN TO THE CORNER of a white great room, designated by an island that's painted gray. Corner cabinets are simply detailed with flush-overlay frosted-glass panels. A custom-made, white paneled steel plate is hung from the ceiling to call out the edge of the kitchen and to provide task and ambient lighting.
